White Plastic Sky
Tibor Bánóczki, Sarolta Szabó / HU, SK, 2023 / 110 min.
Adventurous, visually spectacular animated film about a future world where humankind can only survive by becoming a tree at the age of 50, producing oxygen and food.

In 2123, the earth is a scorched desert without any flora or fauna. People live in cities under protective domes. Because there are no more natural resources left except for water, human beings themselves have become the biggest source of food, and can only live to be 50 years old. Then, a seed is planted in their bodies, which are transformed into trees in special laboratories, providing oxygen and food for the population.
