After Lena loses her father, she’ll do anything to prove that a mysterious sea monster sank his fishing boat. Zeevonk was warmly received at the Berlin Film Festival and was inspired by the lives of the director and his sister.
Lena is a talented sailor and skater. She loses her father when his fishing boat goes missing at sea. People are saying that the accident was her father’s own fault, but Lena is convinced that a mysterious beast is at large in the North Sea – a monster that sunk her dad’s ship. She’ll do whatever it takes to prove that this monster exists.
