Zusje
Robert Westdijk / NL, 1995 / 91 min.
He appeared out of nowhere, Robert Jan Westdijk, and won a Golden Calf for his debut film. Zusje (Little Sister) – about a brother who invades the life of his little sister (Kim van Kooten) from behind a camera – is now a modern Dutch classic.

It’s the mid-nineties, and Robert Jan Westdijk has just graduated from the Film Academy. He doesn’t have any money, but he does have plans. Then in 1995, he blows away the Dutch film world with his independent debut film Little Sister, which created a real buzz even before screening at the Netherlands Film Festival.
