Burn After Reading
Ethan Coen, Joel Coen / US, GB, FR, 2008 / 96 min.
A star-studded slapstick spy comedy full of tragically funny idiots with a few of the Coen Brothers’ favourite actors including Brad Pitt (with an odd haircut), George Clooney, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Richard Jenkins and Tilda Swinton.

After their dark Oscar winner No Country for Old Men Joel and Ethan Coen returned to satire with this spy spoof about an alcoholic CIA analyst, opportunistic instructors at the Hardbodies gym and a paranoid, flirty Marshall. George Clooney plays a former security agent who chats up a powerful bully (Tilda Swinton) who feels nothing but contempt for her husband Osborne (John Malkovich).
