Céline’s partner is about to give birth to their first child. But French law will not recognise Céline as a legal parent. She has to prove that she’ll be a good mother and adopt the child. A moving, humorous portrait of queer parenting.
Céline is looking forward to the arrival of her first child. The only thing is, she’s not pregnant; her wife Nadia is going to give birth to their daughter in three months’ time. To be legally recognised as a mother, however, Céline will have to adopt her child, and prove that she’s deserving of a place in her own daughter’s life.
