Shock director Abel Ferrara followed-up his notorious debut The Driller Killer from 1981 with the extremely violent revenge fantasy Ms. 45, released in the Netherlands by the renowned Warner Bros. as Angel of Vengeance. Which is precisely what the film is about. Screening of the 35mm version from Eye’s collection. More Ferrara Eye will also screen other works by Ferrara including Mary (2005) and New Rose Hotel (1998) to accompany Not Guilty: For Keith Richards, the director’s recently restored short film (16mm, 3') made in cooperation with Babeth VanLoo in 1977.
