In jolly colours and a pop-up book style, Abner Preis has a grandfather explain to his grandchild what the consequences of consumer culture are which is why our world is changing from a paradisical jungle into an apocalyptic landscape. A VR experience that links environmental problems to political dissent and in which mistakes lead to changes.
Last Grain of Sand (studio Post Neon, 2022, 11’)
From the invention of concrete to nano-scale microchips all sorts of sand have become essential to most of our daily lives and our environments. This captivating experience time and space distort while the voice of geologist Michael Welland explains the history and future of our relationship with sand.
