The audio benches are at the top of the stairs to the restaurant. Here, you can listen to various short stories (5 minutes each) about film in 3D sound. This spatial sound, accompanied by the panoramic view over the river IJ, makes for a unique experience. Whether you take the time to listen to all of the stories, or just one with a coffee between films, they will immerse you in the world of film.

The audio benches tell the stories of the making of six classics from the point of view of music, camera, editing, screenplay, colour and, specially for children, voice acting:

1. Music:

Once Upon a Time in the West (Sergio Leone, IT/US/ES 1968)

2. Camera:

In the Mood for Love (Wong Kar Wai, HK/CN/FR 2000)

3. Editing:

The Matrix (Lana & Lilly Wachowski, US 1999)

4. Screenplay:

Cléo de 5 à 7 (Agnès Varda, FR 1962)

5. Colour:

Moonlight (Barry Jenkins, US 2016)

6. Voice acting (specially for children):

One of the audio benches is equipped with braille.
