Donating material to Eye

Do you have film or film-related materials that you would like to donate to Eye, or would you like to know what the options are? Materials we add to the collection are stored safely and sustainably, ensuring it remains accessible to future generations.

Self-produced fiction films

Personal and company archives, photographs, and posters

Eye does not collect

Films or TV series purchased ready-made on small-gauge film, video, or DVD.
Home movies shot abroad after 1960
Personal recordings of television programmes/films
Playback or recording equipment for home use
