We proudly present the world première of Seasons of Dance, the feature film by director Tommy Pascal and a group of acclaimed choreographers, like Imre & Marne van Opstal and Peeping Tom, set to The New Four Seasons – composer Max Richter’s breathtaking interpretation of Vivaldi’s timeless masterpiece.

Cinedans FEST returns to Eye with a full programme of the most beautiful, exciting and poetic dance films from around the world. Films that inspire, challenge, and enchant! In this Practice & Potential edition, we present the International Student Competition, the best and latest New Dutch films, along with special programmes and exceptional documentaries.

Our specials include The Body Doesn’t Lie, a selection of films that influenced and inspired Thomas Bos, core member of breakdance group 155 (eenvijfvijf), and Classics on the Move, where you can experience masters of cinema like Aki Kaurismäki, Jacques Tati and Jane Campion, from the perspective of choreography!

In the third public programme of the Dutch Dance Film Archive Project, we focus on the significance of music and sound in dance film, together with composer Martijn Padding and film sound designer Alex Booy. Additionally, we organize the two-day performative symposium Navigating the In-Between, focusing on interdisciplinary working practices, the Canon Masterclass: Capturing Movement and the research presentations of the fifteen artists of the Moving Media Lab. For detail information on the professional programme visit the Cinedans website.
