In the third public programme of the Dutch Dance Film Archive Project, we focus on the significance of music and sound in dance film, together with composer Martijn Padding and film sound designer Alex Booy. Additionally, we organize the two-day performative symposium Navigating the In-Between, focusing on interdisciplinary working practices, the Canon Masterclass: Capturing Movement and the research presentations of the fifteen artists of the Moving Media Lab. Cinedans FEST ’25 takes place 20 - 23 March in Eye Filmmuseum, A Lab & Tolhuistuin / Solidground. You can buy a ticket per screening, or a passe-partout for the whole festival.
Cinedans FEST '25 is a hybrid festival. You can watch dance films worldwide on Cinedans WEB. The online festival programme will be available from 21 – 30 March.
Installations & VR
