Experience the nautical spectacle of SAIL on Sunday 24 August from the most beautiful spot along the IJ. Our terrace and restaurant offer perfect views of all the magnificent ships passing by.

Please note: we will not be serving dinner on this day. Eye is only accessible with a lunch reservation, film or exhibition ticket between 10:00 and 22:00. The restaurant also has standing tables for visitors with a film or exhibition ticket. The terrace is only accessible with a lunch booking.

SAIL 2025

To celebrate Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary, the 10th edition of SAIL promises to be a truly extraordinary event. The river IJ will serve as the backdrop for no fewer than 10,000 ships from over 20 countries. Ships, crews, and visitors from around the world come together to celebrate maritime history and diverse cultures. From international Tall Ships to charming salon boats, and from naval vessels to the Dutch Fleet, the Sail-Out Parade on Sunday 24 August will be one of the undisputed highlights.
