All About Eve
Joseph Mankiewicz / US, 1950 / 138 min.
Prize-winning, legendary classic about an aging theatre diva (Bette Davis) whose status is threatened by the young, ambitious Eve (Anne Baxter). Also features Marilyn Monroe in one of her early roles.

Bette Davis stars as Margo Channing, an actress accustomed to her entourage’s adoration and a ceaseless source of indefatigable cynical one-liners that cement her status. The diva is blind to the fact that the at least equally ambitious Eve Harrington is warming up in the wings. In fact Eve becomes her personal assistant.
