In the haunting shadows of a decaying cityscape, a young woman wrestles with her inner demons. Atmospheric, black-and-white portrayal, without dialogue, of the displacement of a character teetering on the brink of sanity. The fourth fiction feature by Maartje Seyferth and Victor Nieuwenhuijs, who are celebrating 40 years of creative collaboration. Preceded by the short film Address to the Landscape, inspired by a short story by Franz Kafka.

The mental state of a beautiful, taciturn young woman (Nelly Benner), who doesn't feel at home in the world, exceptionally told mainly through superb camerawork and acting.
During the day she works at a service station, avoiding contact with others as much as she can. She notices the presence of an unknown, older man (Titus Muizelaar), who is following her. During the evening, in her dilapidated apartment, she succumbs to fantasies, balancing on the thin line between madness and reality. She dances, naked, in front of the mirror; a revolver appears…
