1. Purpose. In order to best be able to inform you about our rates, conditions, and technical delivery specifications, we would like to know how you are planning to use the footage: for which purpose, where, and for how long do you want to use the footage.
2. Contact details and further information. We will then need your information (to be filled in on a form that we will send to you) in order to draw up a contract and an invoice.
3. Copyright. If the films you have ordered are protected by rights (note that even old films may still be rights-protected), you need to first obtain permission from the right-holder(s). We will send you the contact information of the right-holder(s), if we have it. After you have obtained this permission, you need to provide it to us in written form; forwarding an e-mail is sufficient.
If the right-holder(s) cannot be traced, we can supply the footage after you have signed a disclaimer that states that the party requesting the footage, and not Eye, is liable for any possible claims filed by a claimant.
4.Technical specs and delivery time. When ordering the footage, we need to know what file format you prefer, and when you would like to receive the footage. Please allow for a delivery time of three weeks (for footage that has already been scanned). To request film clips, send us the time codes of the desired clips. Check with us in advance to ensure that the time codes you are using are based on the correct version.
5. Agreement and invoice. After ordering, you will receive a contract and an invoice.
We can only deliver the film footage after:
1. The agreement has been signed.
2. The invoice has been paid.
3. The consent of the right-holder(s) has been received (if applicable).
