Amsterdam is horrified by a series of gruesome murders. Young detective Tara Lee takes a deep dive into the case, uncovering similarities to terrifying events that gripped the city almost forty years ago. Together with retired police inspector Eric Visser (Huub Stapel), Lee sets out to catch a killer who is once again causing the canals to run blood-red. As the body count rises, old fears resurface.
