How important is sound for a film? Is the film based on a true story or not? How can you tell? In A Nose for Film, you learn to look beyond the obvious.
After watching four remarkable short films, the museum educator hands out a film scavenger hunt and assignments after each film. Pupils discover all sorts of things about music and the effect it has, about camera work, storylines and sound. They also become aware of cinematic and visual language.
Making sure schoolchildren learn to look even better at the moving image is an essential skill in today’s world.
